Danishka’s ban goes away

Decision to lift the ban on November 2022 by the Independent Inquiry Committee appointed by the Sri Lanka Cricket Agency to investigate the criminal charge in Australia against a Danishka Gunathilaka .This decision was taken at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute on 13th October 2023

Gunathilaka, who has been banned from traveling in Australia for the past 11 months, faced trial in New South Wales District Court in Australia, where he was acquitted of a single charge.
