The Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2023 squad for Sri Lanka has been chosen.

The 15-man Sri Lankan team will be captained by Sineth Jayawardene, with Malsha Tharupathi designated as his vice captain.The Sri Lanka U19 Team enters this major Asian tournament fresh off victories in ODI series against Pakistan U19 and the West Indies U19 over the previous two months.They won the three-match series at home against the West Indies 2-1 in September, and they won the five-match series 3-2 away from Pakistan in October.

The U19 Asia Cup will be held in the UAE from December 8th to December 17th. The tournament features eight Asian teams. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Nepal will compete in Group A. Group B will include Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan.

Sri Lanka will play Japan in their first game on December 9th in Dubai. On the 11th and 13th of December, the islanders will face the United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh, respectively
