Bangladesh had a disastrous World Cup campaign, winning only two of nine games.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board stated on Wednesday that a special committee consisting of three members has been constituted to evaluate the performance of the Bangladeshi team in the recently ended ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

The committee that will investigate the performance of the Bangladesh team—the first team eliminated from the World Cup—will be chaired by BCB director Enayet Hossain Siraj, with Mahbubul Anam and Akram Khan serving as additional members.
“The committee’s objective is to scrutinize the factors contributing to the team’s underperformance in the tournament and it will subsequently present its findings to the Board,” according to a statement released by the BCB on Wednesday.
