Najibullah completed the match with two balls remaining after Holder and Irshad completed their work with the ball.

Samp Army 96 for 6 (Du Plessis 30, Najibullah 25*, Farooqi 2-17, Bravo 2-22) beat Delhi Bulls 95 for 8 (Vince 24, Irshad 3-14, Holder 3-15) by four wickets.

Morrisville Samp Army broke Delhi Bulls’ winning streak in a match that was tighter than expected for about three-fourths of the way. They won by four wickets.

After Jason Holder and Salman Irshad produced efficient three-wicket hauls, Samp Army was chasing 96 runs, and at the conclusion of the sixth over, they were coasting with Faf du Plessis and Andries Gous at 60 for 2, with 36 remaining from the remaining four overs. However, Fazalhaq Farooqi dismissed du Plessis (30 off 17 balls) and Gous (20 from 13) in the seventh over, and Dwayne Bravo took two more wickets in the ninth over following an 11-run over from Richard Gleeson.

That left Samp Army needing to score 12 runs, Rovman Powell with the ball, and Najibullah Zadran in front of him. After the numbers two, four, six, and dot, Samp Army returned home. They drew even with the Delhi Bulls, who continued to lead the standings, with their third victory in their previous four games.

Bulls had a few up-top pairings in the first half, but nothing significant or very swift. With James Vince top-scoring with 24 off 14, and Powell scoring 19 off of just eight balls, the Bulls were restricted to a below-par total. Irshad, the medium-pacer from Pakistan, returned 3 for 14 and Holder chipped in with 3 for 15.
