Inter-Schools Limited Overs Tournament – 2023

Today (14), a couple more games were played in the Sri Lanka School Cricket Federation’s Inter-Schools First Class Cricket Competition.
The match between Colombo Nalanda and Moratuwa St. Sebastian Colleges which started as a two-day match here on (13th) ended in a draw today.
The Sebastian players, who were starting their first innings, scored 35 runs for one wicket at the close of the first day of this match. Today, they were all out for 188 runs.
After that, Nalanda Vidyalaya played its second innings and ended the day with 153 runs for 5 wickets. Because Nalanda had a 72-run advantage in the first innings, they were able to secure a draw in the match.
In this instance, Minod Kaldera bowled brilliantly despite Manupa Manmita scoring a century for Nalanda’s second innings.

Three long-standing school tournaments also got underway today. Isuru Fernando of Moratu Maha Vidyalaya took five wickets in these matches, while Aloka Nimesh of Loyola College claimed four wickets. In addition, rain stopped the game between Negombo Harischandra Vidyalaya and Puttalam Ananda National School.
