South Africa and India will compete in a three-match ODI series.
India is well-positioned to win the ODI rubber after tying South Africa in the T20I series.
On Sunday, December 17, the Men in Blue, led by KL Rahul, will take on Aiden Markram’s Proteas team in the opening Twenty20 International of the three-match series.
Experienced players including as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami will not be playing in the next two Tests, hence the Indian team management has decided to rest them.
However, the top pacers for the hosts, Gerald Coetzee, Lungi Ngidi, and Kagiso Rabada, have all been rested.
