IPL Player Auction 2024 here. Mitchell Starc became the most expensive signing in the history of the Indian Premier League on Tuesday, topping the record figure paid for Australia teammate Pat Cummins at the competition’s auction a few hours earlier. Kolkata Knight Riders bid Rs. 24.75 cr. and Sunrisers Hyderabad splurged Rs. 20.50 cr. to get Pat Cummins.
South Africa pacer Gerald Coetzee was signed by Mumbai Indians for R. 5 crore.
Sri Lankan left-arm pacer Dilshan Madushanka was disappointed in the previous IPL auction in 2023 as he went unsold and no team showed any interest in him. One year was enough time for Dilshan Madushanka to change his luck in the world’s most business-friendly T20 league, IPL. Dilshan Madushanka will be joining in Mumbai Indians for the upcoming season in IPL 2024 as they went big on the Lankan pacer.
