Zaka Ashraf, the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has reportedly quit.

Zaka Ashraf reportedly tendered his resignation yesterday (19) during the Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee meeting in Lahore.

After replacing Najad Sethi as president of the Pakistan Cricket Board in July of last year, Zaka Ashraf held the position from 2011 to 2013.

Zaka Ashraf’s academic credentials are the reason behind his resignation. The fact that his tenure expires in February is another factor.

In due order, a new president of the Pakistan Cricket Board is anticipated to be named at the same time.
