The 2024 FIVB tournament schedule will include age group World Championships in volleyball and beach volleyball, giving young players the chance to participate internationally.
The inaugural FIVB Volleyball U17 World Championships for both genders will take place in August at locations to be determined later, while the 2024 FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball World Championships will be hosted in China from August 27 to September 1, 2024.
World Championships for FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball in 2024
In the historic city of Shangluo in central China, the 18th edition of the FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball World Championships will take place. A 2,000-seat center court and four side courts will welcome competitors and fans from all over the world.
FIVB U17 World Volleyball Championships in 2024
The first-ever FIVB Volleyball Girls’ and Boys’ U17 World Championships are scheduled for August 2024; the hosts of these historic competitions will be announced later.
Each of the two recently added biannual FIVB tournaments will feature 16 young national teams competing over the course of seven competition days.
The teams will be divided into four single round-robin pools of four for the first stage of each U17 World Championship. Their starting positions in the single elimination round, which consists of round of 16 quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals at each level of the playoff bracket, will be determined by their final pool standings.
