The Allan Border Awards in 2024, the greatest honor of Australian cricket, was awarded to leading all-rounder Mitchell Marsh.

This week saw the Australian cricketers’ awards event. The awards event honored exceptional bravery and accomplishments in Australian cricket.

The Allan Border Award, the greatest honor bestowed upon Australian men’s cricket players, was won by Mitchell Marsh during this year’s awards event. In the meanwhile, Ashley Gardner is the recipient of the 2024 Belinda Clarke Award.

Following an outstanding showing in the Ashes Test series of the previous season, Mitchell Marsh was instrumental in Australia’s success in the ODI World Cup. This award has been granted to Marsh in recognition of this.

Mitchell Marsh played a major part in Australia’s success in the ODI World Cup last year after putting up an outstanding effort in the Ashes Test series. Marsh has received this award in remembrance of them.

Ashley Gardner, who took home the Belinda Clark Award for the second time, was at the opposite end. Gardner received the award for both her best bowling performance in ODIs and T20Is as well as her best performance in the Women’s Ashes series.

In the meanwhile, Nathan Lyon won Test Player of the Year, Jason Behrendrop won T20I Player of the Year, and Mitchell Marsh won ODI Player of the Year.

Conversely, Haines Perry, an all-rounder, won the title of Women’s Player of the Year for both the ODI and T20I formats.

In the local cricket awards, Sri Lankan women’s player Chamari Athapatthu won the Women’s Big Bash League Player of the Year title, while Matt Chord was declared the Men’s Big Bash League Player of the Year.
