In the second ODI against the West Indies, Australia won handily thanks to Sean Abbott’s outstanding all-around effort.
At the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), after winning the toss against Australia, West Indies chose to bowl in the second match of the three-match series.

Sean Abbott made a significant impact for Australia in the batting department with a stunning 69 runs off 63 balls, which included 4 sixes and 1 four. Cameron Green (33 runs off 41) and Matthew Short (41 runs off 55) were two more notable scorers. Together, the West Indies bowlers claimed three wickets from Gudakesh Motie, two from Alzarri Joseph, and one apiece from Romario Shepherd.
