In the Asian Cup football series final, Qatar defeated Jordan 3-1 to win the championship for the second consecutive year.
Saturday,February 10, saw the AEC Asia Cup football series finale take place at Lusail Stadium in Doha. Jordan faced the reigning champions, Qatar, after making it to the Asian Cup football series finals for the first time.

Additionally, Qatar and South Korea (1956, 1960) are tied for fourth position in terms of the most Asian Cup football titles. The top three are held by Saudi Arabia (1984, 1988, 1996), Iran (1968, 1972, 1976), and Japan (1992, 2000, 2004, 2011).
In this instance, the Qatari team’s Akram Abi took home the tournament’s most valuable player and top scorer trophies, while Mishal Parsham earned best goalie.
In the meanwhile, rumors have it that Saudi Arabia will host the 19th Asia Cup football tournament in 2027.
