For their historic first-ever participation in the esteemed competition, Canada has revealed its 15-man roster for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Saad Bin Zafar, an experienced all-round player, will lead the historic squad. In addition to bowler Kaleem Sana and batsman Aaron Johnson, Zafar gives the team invaluable international experience. These athletes will be essential in helping the younger players navigate the intense pressures of the World Cup.

Even though Nikhil Dutta and Srimantha Wijeyeratne, two well-known players, were left off the final roster, the team still provides intriguing prospects for newcomers. Rayyankhan Pathan, Kanwarpal Tathgur, and Harsh Thaker are among the young stars who would be itching to show themselves on the largest platform.

As a backup player, Tajinder Singh will accompany the squad on their trip, providing extra assistance. Aaditya Varadharajan, Ammar Khalid, Jatinder Matharu, and Parveen Kumar are the other four reserve players who will be on hand in case they are needed throughout the competition.

Canada is grouped with co-hosts the United States of America, cricketing heavyweights Pakistan and India, and Ireland for a tough group stage. They will play their first game in Dallas, Texas on June 2nd versus USA.
