CAVA NATIONS LEAGUE GETS UNDERWAY IN PAKISTAN

The renowned Liaqat Gymnasium in Islamabad, Pakistan will host the CAVA Nations League from May 11–17, according to the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA). It promises to be an exciting exhibition of athleticism and sportsmanship.
Iran, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and the host Pakistan are the six teams that will compete for the top spot in the Central Zone.
The news came after the CAVA Sports Event Commission had a productive cooperative meeting in which the competition rules and the schedule of matches were carefully considered and decided.
The Pakistan Volleyball Federation’s Chairman, Mr. Chaudhary Muhammad Yaqoob, gave important updates on the preparations made and relevant details about the one-week competition.
The CAVA Nations League is very important because, starting in 2025, it will be included in the global ranking system. This rise highlights volleyball’s increasing popularity and competition in the Central Zone, drawing interest and excitement from all around the world.
President Mohammad Latheef stressed that each member must work together to help bring volleyball in the Central Zone to a level of recognition that is recognized around the world. By promoting friendship and mutual respect among participating nations, the CAVA Nations League seeks to highlight the best volleyball talent in Central Asia via a common dedication to greatness.
