Sri Lanka A defeated Afghanistan A by an innings and 26 runs in a four-day Test cricket match yesterday (14).
When the match was called off on the second day, the Afghan players, who were on the verge of losing by an innings, had scored 108 runs for the loss of two wickets, and today their total innings was limited to 211 runs.
Imran and Ijaz Ahmad scored half-centuries for Afghanistan in the second innings, while Sri Lanka’s best bowler took six wickets. Nishan Peiris also claimed two wickets.
