Kolkata Knight Riders reached in IPL finals for the fourth time.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had a relatively easy trip to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 final, as they easily defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday in Ahmedabad. KKR, who finished first in the points table during the league round, demonstrated their supremacy by defeating SRH by eight wickets.
This decisive victory was primarily enabled by Mitchell Starc‘s superb effort, which helped limit SRH to a modest total of 159 runs. Starc’s excellent bowling performance of 4-0-34-3 laid the groundwork for KKR’s victory. During the chase, the two-time winners completed the task in 13.4 overs. Skipper Shreyas Iyer’s unbroken 58 runs off 24 balls, along with Venkatesh Iyer’s stunning 51* off 28 deliveries, guaranteed the team’s triumph.
