In advance of a three-match volleyball series against Pakistan set for May 28–30, Australia’s volleyball team arrived here on Sunday.

This is the first international series that an Australian volleyball team has been to Pakistan for.

At the Australian Volleyball Federation‘s request, the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) organized the series.

The PVF authorities greeted the visiting delegation warmly as they arrived at Islamabad International Airport.

Australia will participate in the practice session today, and at 5:00 PM at the nearby hotel in Islamabad, there will be a pre-event press conference.

Luke Perry, Arshdeep Dosanjh, Jackson Holland, Trent O’dea, Matthew Aubrey, Max Senica, Beau Graham, Thomas Heptinstall, Sam Flowerday, Nicholas Butler, Ethan Garrett, William D’arcy Miles, and Jacob Baird are among the Australian players led by Nehemiah Mote.

The team’s coaches will include Brendan Garlick, Alec Walker, and James Begley in addition to head coach Daniel Ilott.

The three-match series’ first game will take place at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad on May 28, followed by games two and three on May 29 and May 30, respectively.

The Chairman of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqoob, declared, “All matches will start at 6:30 PM and entry for fans and supporters is free.”

Australia is ranked far higher than Pakistan, who just won the Central Asian title, so it will be an exciting series. He said, “Both teams are getting ready for the Challenge Cup, which will take place in Bahrain next month.
