Obed McCoy and Johnson Charles provided exceptional performance in the West Indies victory.

Thanks to outstanding batting efforts by Obed McCoy and Johnson Charles, the West Indies defeated South Africa 3-0 in a series sweep. South Africa set a tough goal of 163/7, but the West Indies easily met it, scoring 165/2 in just 13.5 overs and winning the third game to complete a clean sweep.
The amazing bowling exhibition of Obey McCoy.

After winning the toss, South Africa chose to bat first. Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks, the opening duo, got off to a solid start but soon found themselves down in the wicket-taking game. The South African innings lacked significant partnerships, even though Wiaan Mulder and Rassie van der Dussen batted with considerable resilience. Mulder’s strategic innings and Van der Dussen’s aggressive fifty drove the side to a competitive score of 163/7 in their allocated 20 overs. But McCoy’s outstanding bowling performance—which included three vital wickets—was what prevented South Africa from amassing a higher total.

The West Indies, chasing 164 runs, were off to a fast start because to Brandon King and Charles’ prolific hitting. The pair put the South African bowlers under extreme strain with a barrage of sixes and boundaries. King’s forceful 44 and Charles’ brilliant 69 set the stage for the West Indies to mount a victorious chase. With plenty of overs remaining, Kyle Mayers’ calm innings secured the West Indies’ victory even if a few wickets fell at the finish.

While Gerald Coetzee and Nqabayomzi Peter took important wickets, Anrich Nortje and Bjorn Fortuin were unable to generate any significant impact against the West Indian batting attack. The West Indies were able to easily chase down the score, though, as the bowlers were unable to stop the flow of runs.
