Sri Lanka Cricket Institute’s initiative to provide cricket equipment to schools

Sports equipment has been given out by the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute to cricket players on the island who are younger than 13, 15, 17, and 19.

Here, equipment for schoolgirls has also been given among these junior colleges, along with senior sports bags for 45 schools and junior sports bags for 22 schools.

In addition to Mr. Sagala Ratnayake, the head of the National Cricket Development Center Kamal Dharmasiri, Treasurer Sujeewa Godaliyadda, and President of Sri Lanka Cricket Shammi Silva, Mr. Harin Fernando, the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, also took part in the sports equipment distribution program.

For this yearly campaign to promote cricket across the island, Sri Lanka Cricket has spent 84.3 million rupees on sporting goods.
