In the second game of their two-match friendly football event, Brunei defeated Sri Lanka 1-0 thanks to Tuesday (11).
Brunei prevailed 1-0 in the opening encounter between the two nations, and Muhd Azwan, the captain of Brunei, turned the tide of the game by scoring the game’s first and only goal in the first half of yesterday’s encounter.
After receiving his second yellow card of the game in the 61st minute of the second half, Brunei’s Indera Putera was substituted, forcing the side to play with just 10 players. However, Brunei won the match as Sri Lanka was unable to turn their lead to its benefit.
