Bilal Khan became the quickest fast bowler to achieve 100 ODI wickets
Bilal Khan, Oman’s seasoned fast bowler, has made cricket history as the fastest pacer to capture 100 wickets in One Day Internationals (ODIs). Bilal achieved this milestone in a match against Namibia at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2.
Bilal performed admirably in the high-stakes game in Dundee, taking three wickets for 50 runs. This feat demonstrated his extraordinary skill and eclipsed the previous record set by Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi, who took 100 wickets in 51 matches.

He was also named Player of the Tournament at the ICC Men’s One-Day International World Cup 2015.

Former New Zealand fast bowler Bond took his 100th ODI wicket in 54 appearances, against England. Bond resigned from one-day international cricket in May 2010, having taken 147 wickets in 82 appearances.
- Mustafizur Rahman (Bangladesh)—54 matches
Rahman, a Bangladeshi left-arm bowler, also reached 100 wickets in 54 One-Day Internationals. Rahman accomplished this accomplishment against Pakistan in July 2019. Rahman is most known for his brilliant debut against India in June 2015, when he took five wickets. He has 164 ODI wickets in 104 appearances and was Bangladesh’s highest wicket-taker in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2019.
