Anushka Sanjeevani’s undefeated twenty-four and her fifty helped Lanka reach 141 for 7 in 19.5 overs. After Athapaththu amassed 61 runs for the third wicket, Kalisha Dilhari (17, 18 balls) helped Lanka seize control of the game.Experienced left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal (4/16 from 4 overs) played a magnificent spell to keep Pakistan in the match, but the hosts lost momentum as the opposition failed to provide much resistance.
