Tarushi Karunaratne finished eighth in the fourth race of the repechage round of the women’s 800m event at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Tarushi took advantage of her first Olympic experience at midnight today (03), although she was unable to perform well.
The Repechage round was held this evening for players who did not qualify for the following round in the preliminary round.
Tarushi came in eighth with a time of 2.06.66 minutes.
Tarushi Karunaratne’s ambitions for the 2024 Paris Olympics have dimmed, but she is still 19 years old, and she is confident that she will do many great things in the future.
