How Delhi Capitals can still qualify for IPL 2025 playoffs

The Delhi Capitals (DC), who had one of the most promising beginnings in the IPL 2025, experienced yet another defeat on Sunday, putting their dreams of making the playoffs in jeopardy. DC has now dropped to their fifth loss of the season after winning four straight early on. With 13 points from 12 games, they are now ranked fifth in the standings. To maintain their hopes of finishing in the top four, they will need to play well in the remaining games.

Although DC’s net run-rate (NRR) is still good (+0.26), their bowlers must perform well under duress and their top order must be effective. Although the equation is difficult, it is not impossible. If they maintain their composure, DC can yet turn things around and sneak into the top four with momentum and a clear approach.
