The first Twenty20 International of the three-match series saw Pakistan defeat Bangladesh by a commanding 37 runs.

At the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh handily in the first Twenty20 International of the three-match series. With the help of both bowlers and hitters, the home team won by a commanding 37 runs. Pakistan’s youth team performed well and shown subtlety. They were able to comfortably defend the goal thanks to their aggressive batting display and disciplined bowling assault.

Salman Agha, the captain of Pakistan, chose to bat first after winning the toss. The hosts got off to a bad start, losing both of their openers with only five runs scored. However, with a calm 48-run partnership off only 32 balls, Mohammad Haris and Agha provided steadiness. Later, Pakistan reached a dominant total of 201 because to explosive cameos from Shadab Khan and Hasan Namaz.

Shoriful Islam was a standout for Bangladesh, taking two wickets, including the crucial removal of Fakhar Zaman. Although they each contributed a wicket, the remaining bowlers were unable to stop Pakistan’s middle order’s late assault.

Bangladesh got off to a strong start in response, as opener Tanzid Hasan scored a quick 31 off only 17 deliveries. They lost two wickets during the powerplay, though, despite getting off to a fast start. In order to keep the scoreboard rolling, captain Litton Das attempted to use some graceful strokes to anchor the innings. However, a mistimed shot at backward point caused him to fall just as he appeared to be set.

All of the Bangladeshi hitters were unable to hold against Pakistan’s unrelenting bowling attack, with the exception of Jaker Ali’s brief resistance. The main attraction was Hasan Ali, who took five wickets in his first T20I match while giving up only 30 runs. Throughout the innings, the pressure was maintained by his accurate line, subtle adjustments, and unrelenting precision. As Bangladesh was bowled out considerably short of the mark, Hasan’s outstanding session won him the Player of the Match title.
