The Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, a cutting-edge complex and one of northern Thailand’s major event sites, will host the World Championship for the first time. This will be the city’s first international competition, however it has previously hosted volleyball events such as the Southeast Asia Volleyball League and the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge in 2023.
Phuket will round up the host cities, with matches scheduled for the Saphan Hin Municipal Sports Complex. The city has a long history of hosting international beach volleyball tournaments, most notably the 2021 FIVB U19 and U21 World Championships. The 2025 World Championship is another opportunity for Phuket to welcome global followers of the sport.
The 2025 Women’s World Championship, the most expansive ever, will honor nearly 70 years of competitive history while ushering in a new age of innovation, excitement, and global significance for the sport.
