On Friday evening (26 July), the Paris 2024 Olympics will begin with an unforgettable Opening Ceremony.

The 26 July event, which will be the first Olympic Games Opening Ceremony staged outside of a stadium, will convert the French city into a stadium and theatre as the customary parade of athletes takes place in boats along the Seine, passing by Paris’ most recognizable sites.

Sports like as football, rugby sevens, handball, and archery are already underway, but billions of people will be watching the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony, which will formally launch the Games.

And before the Olympic cauldron is ignited, a stunning performance awaits, with the Opening Ceremony scheduled to take place along the Seine.
